Antwaan Randle El is a wide receiver and punt returner for the Washington Redskins. A quarterback in college at Indiana University, he is also occasionally called on to pass on trick plays, most notably in Super Bowl XL in which he threw a pass for a touchdown. Randle El was drafted in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Subsequently, the Steelers moved him to the receiver position. On March 12, 2006, Randle El signed a seven-year, $31 million deal to play for the Washington Redskins. In the Redskins' Week 7 matchup in 2006 against the Indianapolis Colts, Randle El returned a punt 87 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. It was his first punt return for a touchdown as a Redskin. In the week 17 match-up versus the New York Giants, Randle El threw a 48 yard touchdown to wide receiver Santana Moss. It was his first passing touchdown as a Redskin. In the 2007 season opener versus the Miami Dolphins, Randle El caught five passes for a career high 162 yards. In 2008, he threw another fake reverse pass, to his secondary target, tight end Chris Cooley. This was his first passing TD with Jim Zorn as head coach.
