Jason Taylor is a defensive end who is currently a free agent. He was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He played college football at Akron. On March 2, 2009, Taylor, now 34, was released by the Washington Redskins for refusing to participate in off-season conditioning programs. His time with the Redskins was marked by generally poor performance and lingering injuries which prevented the former Pro-Bowler from contributing effectively.
